Small form factor cases are fantastic is you plan to put together a small form factor build using a MicroATX or Mini-ITX motherboard. These cases are very compact and are perfect for smaller builds. It is important to remember however that with a small form factor build you do have less options available to you in regards to what hardware you can use.

Make sure that the computer case that you like has enough ventilation in order to allow cool air from outside to be easily drawn into the case. The more cool air you can get flowing through the case, the better performance you will get.

More cooling options is better

Computer cases offer a wide variety of cooling options, and these options vary from chassis to chassis. Have a think about how you intend to further cool the hardware in your case. 

Do you plan to install additional fans, if so, make sure that enough fan mounts are available. It is also important to confirm that those fan mount support the size fans that you want to install.

If you are opting for an air cooler, make sure that there is enough clearance between the top of the air cooler and the side panel of your case.
